Program 02
Earn your SCCA Novice Permit race license in one day. Learn to feel comfortable in open passing, in your own race car or one of ours.
A one-day intensive following the SCCA curriculum for Novice Permit race licensing. We split the day into classroom and track sessions with over three hours of track time, in two groups: street cars and race cars.
No prerequisite. Everyone is welcome, from "never have I ever" to seasoned track driver. Any make and model. Your license is valid at any regional SCCA event in the US and with VARA, and we also issue Porsche Owners Club cup licenses and help drivers move up to the pro levels.
What's included
How the day works
The DK Racing School compresses the SCCA Novice Permit curriculum into a single, full day. You move from classroom theory to real open-passing track sessions, coached the entire way by champion instructors, and leave with a provisional race license in hand.
Flags, procedures, racecraft, and the rules of open passing — the groundwork every licensed racer needs before the green flag.
Over three hours of track time in street-car and race-car run groups, with champion coaches reading your lines session after session.
Build real confidence wheel-to-wheel — learn to give and take a pass cleanly, the core skill that separates track days from racing.
Finish with an SCCA Novice Permit valid at regional SCCA events nationwide and with VARA, plus a path to POC cup and pro-level licensing.
